7-12 Math Teacher, Mid-level Math Teacher
Willing to relocate to:

Summary:

It is my desire to teach in a school grounded in a Christian worldview, underpinned by the Word of God. I am currently a teacher of mathematics in the United Kingdom, with experience in two state schools—one secular and one Roman Catholic. Through these experiences, I’ve come to believe that only a truly Christian school aligns fully with my beliefs. I believe that education is fundamentally the God-given responsibility of parents, who may delegate some authority to schools, and I would love to work at a school that affirms this truth. I also believe that education must be centred on God as our Creator.
In the UK, there are very few truly Christian schools, and to my knowledge, no Classical Christian Schools. This has drawn my attention to the United States, where the classical approach—teaching children how to think—greatly appeals to me. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I seek to contribute not only academically but as a joyful Christian role model who serves the school community wholeheartedly.
Academically, I bring a strong background in mathematics and a love for teaching. I earned top grades in my A-levels (A*, A*, A*, A in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Physics) and continued my studies at the University of St Andrews and later Loughborough University, where I graduated with First Class Honours in Sport Science. It was during my time at Loughborough that I became a Christian, through reading the Bible—an experience that changed my life completely. I had previously aspired to join the Royal Marines, but God graciously redirected my path into teaching.
I completed my PGCE and QTS at the University of Leicester, where I was the top achieving student in my cohort and received a university award for my dissertation on mathematical language fluency. I’ve since taught at Castle Mead Academy (an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school) and currently work at De Lisle College. These roles have developed my ability to create purposeful, engaging lessons with strong behaviour management.
Beyond teaching, I’ve served as Head of Rowing and Head of Duke of Edinburgh, gaining leadership and organisational experience. These roles reflect the trust senior leaders placed in me early in my career.
I am an active member of an evangelical church in Loughborough, England, where my wife and I serve regularly, including leading a children’s Bible ministry. I would welcome the opportunity to connect with a Classical Christian School in the U.S. to explore a work exchange that could support the advancement of Christian education in both our countries.

Position desired: Administrator, Head of School
Subjects you are willing to teach:
7-12 Humanities Teacher, 7-12 Literature Teacher, 7-12 Math Teacher, 7-12 Philosophy Teacher, 7-12 Theology Teacher, Logic Teacher, Rhetoric Teacher
Willing to relocate to:
Midwest, Northeast, Southeast
Summary:

After earning my Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, I’ve worked at a small, liberal arts college as both a faculty member and administrator for over 15 years. I believe the future of liberal arts education in the U.S. is shifting from higher education to the growing Classical Christian School movement and I am eager to be a part of it.

I have more than 20 years of experience integrating faith and learning, promoting education centered around the pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness. My guiding pedagogical motto comes from St. Augustine: faith seeking understanding. My commitments to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and my vision for a classical, humanistic education rooted in faith position me to lead an ACCS member school. The breadth of my experience in higher education as well as my business training offer a combination of intellectual and practical skills that may serve an ACCS school well and could give the school a fresh and creative perspective that positions it to thrive for the future.

My faith is a central reason why I pursued a career in academic philosophy to begin with, and it motivates me to meet student needs holistically as a professor and administrator. I am a committed, orthodox Christian with an active membership in a local Lutheran church. My wife and I have 5 school-aged children currently and part of my interest in a position in a Classical Christian School is to enroll our children there.

As a school leader, my priorities would be academic excellence and faith formation. I am motivated to train young people to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. My background in philosophy and love for classic texts make me suited to lead a school that has a Trivium curriculum.

I have had considerable success as a teacher and scholar. I have taught a wide range of courses in the liberal arts, including courses in our core curriculum and Honors program. I have taught courses on logic, virtue ethics, bioethics, technology, happiness, love, and the built environment. I believe that education is ultimately about a meaningful relationship between professors and students.

I have significant experience in both academic support and administrative work. I spent 3 years in full-time academic administration. In my role as Associate Dean, I interacted with parents, worked with students on probation, handled academic integrity violations, engaged in specialized advising, implemented academic policies, oversaw curricular changes, promoted student retention, registered transfer students for courses, and resolved conflicts between faculty and students, among other responsibilities. In my leadership roles, I have hired, supported, and/or evaluated a variety of staff, including adjunct faculty, full-time faculty, and administrative staff. In addition, I earned an MBA in part on the basis of a future possible move into academic administration.

Summary:

With over eight years of experience leading three different Christian schools, both classical and not, I have seen firsthand the necessity for strong classical Christian schools.

As a brief summary of my experience, I earned a BA in Bible Teacher Education from Cedarville University (Ohio), taught English to Chinese and international students in Beijing, China for one year, and then earned a Master of Divinity degree from Shepherds Theological Seminary (North Carolina). After this I served as Administrator of Community Christian School of Baraboo (Wisconsin) for six years where we implemented classical techniques and curriculum but never fully embraced the classical model. During that time I completed a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Cornerstone University (Michigan). I then served as the Head of School at Calvary Christian Academy (Illinois) for two years before relocating “back home” to the area of my upbringing to help a new classical Christian school get started (Doxa Christian Academy in New Berlin, WI). Since then I have taken a break from Christian school leadership in order to provide a stable classical Christian education for our children, who are enrolled in a local ACCS school.

I am excited for the next opportunity to serve as a leader in a classical Christian school in order to disciple the next generation of Christian students. I am open to Head of School and administrative roles for classical Christian schools in the United States. I prefer those that offer a full K-12 but would consider K-8 if they have strong intentions to expand into an upper school. I do not intend to start a new role until the summer of 2026 at the earliest. Clarity of purpose, a healthy board, and high ethical standards are all important to me.

Summary:

I am a devoted Catholic scholar and educator with a background in the Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College, and currently pursuing my MA and PhD in Philosophy at the University of St. Thomas’ Center for Thomistic Studies. I have successfully taught science, mathematics (from geometry to calculus), and humanities to students ranging from 8th-12th grade in my two years of teaching. I believe I was able to lesson plan and teach all of these subjects because classical education is in my bones. I love being in the classroom, and helping students discover the truth and that the truth is worth pursuing for its own sake. I hope to serve a classical Christian school in whatever way I can. I believe my background in the Liberal Arts, zeal for classical education, and ability to teach in several subject areas should be put to service.

Summary:

My desire in life is to walk fully and unwavering in Christ, glorifying Him in all I do.

With over a decade of leadership experience in administration and management, combined with a passion for ministry and education, I am seeking an opportunity to serve at a school where Christ-centered values and academic excellence go hand in hand. I believe that joining your team would allow me to continue growing in my calling to support students, families, and staff in a meaningful way.

For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Director of Operations and Student Affairs at Eden Classical Academy. My responsibilities included but were not limited to managing daily campus operations, student discipleship & discipline, volunteer coordination, event planning, calendar & schedule writing and staff support. It’s been a tremendous blessing to help shape the spiritual and academic culture of our school community. I’ve witnessed firsthand the fruit of Christ-centered education in the lives of our students and families.

Prior to this, I worked as the Director of Agent Services at Keller Williams Roseville, Elk Grove and New York City, where I was responsible for coaching, training, and developing new real estate agents while overseeing their individual business plans. Under my leadership, our brokerage saw a measurable increase in revenue and achieved record-breaking agent retention – even in the midst of a slow market.

Earlier in my career, I spent seven years as an Assistant Store Director at Safeway, where I oversaw full-store operations. I led department teams, implemented cost-saving measures, and improved both sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Throughout these various leadership roles, the Lord has continued to refine my heart for coaching, teaching, and equipping others to thrive. My heart for ministry has also deepened through serving in Doxa Students and Doxa Kids ministries at Doxa Church over the past four years, where I’ve had the joy of watching young hearts grow in their knowledge and love for Christ.

It would be an honor to continue fusing my passions – educational leadership and discipleship – by serving in a Christ-centered school community. I am excited by the opportunity to contribute to a mission that helps shape students and their families in truth, character, and wisdom.

Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the chance to connect further and learn how I might support your school’s mission.
