2025 Other Talks | | Art & Music

Summary

The Church has long been at the forefront of the arts; however, fear of idolatry threads fear throughout congregations—a fear that takes its toll on the aesthetics. Though truth and goodness remain, beauty is all but forgotten. This must be remedied. God brims this world with beautiful expressions of His character meant, not to distract, but to lead us toward Him: a deepening of aesthetic appreciation is necessary to enhance our love of the One True Artist.

Speaker

Campbell Leiloglou is the winner of the 2025 Chrysostom Oratory prize.
